Do I lose control of my property?

How will I know what my property earned?

You receive an itemized monthly statement covering booking revenue, occupancy, average daily rate, Staybite fees, costs, net earnings and guest rating trend, plus periodic performance reviews.

What platforms do you list on?

Staybite lists across major short-stay platforms plus a direct-booking channel, reducing dependence on any single platform.

Do you handle county and tourism compliance?

We review the county, tourism, tax, safety and accommodation requirements that apply to your property before onboarding, and refer complex legal or tax matters to qualified Kenyan professionals.

Is Airbnb legal in Kenya, and do I need a licence?

Short-term accommodation operators are expected to register with the Tourism Regulatory Authority, hold a county single business permit and declare rental income to KRA. Requirements vary by county and change, so we review what applies to your property before onboarding and refer legal or tax questions to qualified Kenyan professionals.

Can I manage my property from abroad?

Yes. Local supervision plus itemized monthly statements mean distance is not a barrier, and diaspora owners are a core part of who we serve.

Does Staybite offer property consultancy?

Yes. You can book a consultation on listing and pricing, setup and furnishing, compliance, performance audits, investment fit or host coaching, without signing up for management. Scope and any fee are agreed in writing before we start.

How do I book a consultation with Staybite?

Use the booking builder on our home page: choose your topics, format, preferred day and time, then send the request to our team on WhatsApp. We confirm your slot there.

How do you charge, and will I see it in writing?

Fees are agreed in writing before you sign: usually a percentage of booking revenue by package, or a one-time fee for setup work. Never a surprise charge: you pay our agreed fee after you are paid.

Where does my money sit?

Guests pay you directly. Staybite does not collect, hold or handle booking payments. Once you are paid, you pay our agreed fee, as set out in your written agreement.

How much does Staybite management cost?

Staybite Co-Host is about 15% of booking revenue. Staybite Full Management is about 20 to 25%. What is the difference between co-hosting and full management?
